Dr. Lewis Quayle
Lewis Quayle completed his B.Sc. in Biomedical Science with first class honours in 2013, for which he was awarded the IBMS President’s Prize and the Royal Society of Biology Award for academic excellence.

He went on to complete an M.Res in Medical and Biomedical Science in 2014, and then continued to study for his Ph.D. in the Department of Oncology and Metabolism, which was awarded in November 2017.

He is currently a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Oncology and Metabolism at Sheffield University Medical School, working on projects projects in identifying the molecular drivers of mitotic quiescence and dormancy in breast cancer funded by Against Breast Cancer and Weston Park Cancer Charity

Elliott Hall
Elliott Hall holds a B.Sc. in Computer Studies and has accrued over 30 years expertise in the field of database construction and management, as well as extensive IT technical support experience working within the NHS.

Having retired in 2014, Elliott spent much of his time involved in charity support and fund-raising. Since meeting Dr Quayle at a charity event in 2019, Elliott has been volunteering his IT expertise to become the leading force behind the realisation of the expressExpression concept, being solely responsible for data acquisition, data curation, server-management and website development.
